On the occasion of celebrating BAU’s Golden Jubilee, President of the National Center for the Middle East Studies Prof. Mohamad Chafic delivered two lectures at Beirut Arab University. The first lecture entitled “The Scientific Research and its Ethics” was held on Wednesday the 26th of May 2010 at 5:00 p.m. The second lecture, under the title of “Human Behavior and Leadership among Youth”, was held on Thursday the 27th of May at 10:30 a.m. Both lectures were held in Jamal Abdulnasser Hall within the premises of Beirut Campus.

The lectures were attended by President of Beirut Arab University Prof. Amr Galal El Adawi, Secretary General of Beirut Arab University Mr. Issam Houri, Deans of Faculties, Faculty and Staff members.

Prof. Chafic dealt with the procedures of the scientific research and its importance in the developing countries. He also talked about the various steps of the research process. Discussions were held at the end of each lecture.
