Heart Saver First Aid provider course

The AHA's Heart saver First Aid CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

It covers:

  • First aid basics
  • Medical emergencies
  • Injury emergencies
  • Environmental emergencies
  • Preventing illness and injury
  • Adult CPR and AED use
  • Opioid–associated life-threatening emergencies
  • Optional modules in child CPR and AED use and infant CPR
