Beirut Arab University Joins the Lebanese
Academic Library Consortium
Within the framework of globalization and expansion in the academic
field, and in its attempt to develop and enrich its libraries, Beirut
Arab University joined the Lebanese Academic Library Consortium on June
10th, 2011. Collaboration and support represent the headlines of the
agreement between the two institutions concerning all libraries in BAU's
campuses in Beirut, Debbieh and Tripoli.
Collaboration tackles the development of electronic learning in the
librarian sector such as founding databases and electronic magazines
which facilitate the process of academic researching for students and
faculty at the same time.
