Libraries
Throughout five decades, accompanying the development that BAU proved during this period, this development embodied its libraries to serve academic purposes and looking after scientific research. From a central library at the beginning, seven libraries were found covering the scientific needs and the reference to all ten faculties at BAU occupying 3000 square meters of the total area of the university.

Arts Library It holds 67,639 volumes: 40,965 in Arabic, and 26,674 in other languages such as English, French, Persian and Hebrew, as well as 1,286 periodicals in Arabic and in other languages. It also includes audiovisual tapes for the benefit of students in the Department of English Language & Literature and users of the language laboratory. A periodical and newspaper hall is annexed to the main reading room.
Law and Political Science Library Located at the Faculty of Law, it holds 17,509 volumes: 12,828 in Arabic and 4,681 in other languages, mainly French. It also includes 163 specialized periodicals in different languages.
Commerce and Business Administration Library Located at the Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration, it holds 16,086 volumes: 6,352 in Arabic and 9,734 in other languages, mainly English, as well as 85 different periodicals
Architectural Engineering Library Located at the Faculty of Architectural Engineering in Debbieh Campus, it holds 8,753 volumes: 627 in Arabic and 8,132 in other languages mainly in English, some in French, others in German and Japanese Languages. It also includes 100 periodicals.
Engineering Library Located at the Engineering Building at Debbieh Campus, this library holds 5,346 volumes: 876 in Arabic and 4,470 other than Arabic but mainly English. It also includes 201 periodicals
Science Library Located at Debbieh Campus, It holds 5,627 volumes: 986 in Arabic and 4,641 in other languages mainly in English. It also includes 41 periodicals.
Pharmacy Library Located at "Hariri Building", It holds 831 volumes: 58 in Arabic and 773 in other languages mainly in English. It also includes 26 periodicals.
Medicine Library It holds up to 1,244 volumes: 254 in Arabic and 990 in other languages mainly in English, as well as 30 specialized periodicals.
Dentistry Library It holds up to 853 volumes: 39 in Arabic and 814 in other languages mainly in English, as well as 30 specialized periodicals.
Health Sciences Library Relatively new, it holds up to 1,244 volumes: 254 in Arabic and 990 in other languages mainly in English, as well as 30 specialized periodicals.
