Biography

Assistant Professor - Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University.

Skilled career professional with more than 15 years’ experience in health care delivery in Lebanon, United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.

A professional lecturer, training facilitator and public speaker with more than 10 years’ experience in developing and providing adult education and training for health care professionals.

Highly skilled with sufficient experience in improving and designing electronic learning management training and educational systems.

Expert with High Fidelity 3G Human Patient Simulation theoretical concepts, clinical applications, and training in academic and health care settings.

Experienced with sufficient knowledge in health care research, evidence-based practices, managing data and using research statistical tools.

More than 6 years’ experience in oncology/Hematology nursing and End of Life patient care.

At BAU, he taught Health Across Lifespan, Adult Health Nursing I, Research & Evidence Based Practice, Health Informatics, Research Methodology, Methods of Research, Advanced Critical Care Nursing Theory, Advanced Critical Care Nursing Practicum.

Activities

·         Participated in the development and evaluation of systems and programs.

·         Leaded/ Participated in numerous quality improvement projects and activities.

·         Taking part in several research activities including systematic reviews and lecturing. Led the analyses of several surveys and studies.

·         Completed numerous courses, modules, and workshops on research methodologies and frameworks, clinical trials and evidenced based practices.

·         Certified as a systematic reviewer with Joanna Briggs Institute

·         Completed a Statistical Processes Control Workshop (SPC). Understanding Variation in Healthcare using Shewhart Control Charts

·         Demonstrated competencies in using several auditing tools. Extensive experience in statistics/auditing using Microsoft Excel.
