  • The management of the most prevalent non-communicable diseases (i.e. metabolic syndrome, pre diabetes and type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular diseases etc.) by adhering to the evidence-based guidelines.
  • The management of other diseases that require special nutritional interventions (i.e. chronic kidney disease, celiac disease, Lactose intolerance etc.)

In addition, we also aim that BAU will offer:

  • An essential platform for students in Nutrition and Dietetics to promote and enhance their professional skills in medical nutrition therapy in outpatient settings.
  • An important environment for ongoing clinical research within the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
