An
Academic Cooperation and Exchange Agreement between Beirut Arab
University, Beirut – Lebanon, and Hacettepe University, Ankara – Turkey,
was signed on February 28th , 2011 in BAU’s Beirut Campus .
The
Agreement was signed by the president of Beirut Arab University, Prof.
Amr Galal El Adawi, and the president of the Turkish Hacettepe
University, Prof. Ugur Erdener. This agreement states mutual cooperation
of scientific and academic exchange which includes developing joint
research, exchange programs, co-publishing ,and cultural activities.
This
Cooperation and Exchange Agreement, also, accentuates, within the scope
of the regulations and facilities of each university, mutual exchange of
academic research, and teaching material as required from both parties
including exchange of faculty and research members.
Organizing subject related academic conferences is one of the points
that the agreement states and emphasizes which and would be specified
later on.
At
the end of the Protocol signature ceremony, Prof. El Adawi accompanied
the Turkish delegate in a tour around Beirut Arab University in both
Beirut and Debbieh Campuses whereby they visited the different
faculties, and looked at the advanced technologies and educational
methodologies.
