The Faculty of Arts is a cornerstone of Beirut Arab University. It consists of a number of departments representing various disciplines of the humanities, social sciences and three major languages. This academic structure of the Faculty is a clear manifestation of its importance and its substantial contribution to the educational institution in Lebanon. In the light of rapid changes and progress in the fields of technology and knowledge, the Faculty of Arts has adopted a philosophy of growth and sustainable development. To achieve these, we aim to develop new methods in teaching and learning, and produce graduates worthy of the reputation of BAU, capable of satisfying the needs of the job-market. It is worth noting that this is a strategy adopted under the wise management of Prof. Amr el-Adawy, President of the University, who allows us space and potential for growth.
