Industrial Eng. and Eng. Manag.

Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management concerned with the design, improvement and installation of integrated systems of people, materials, and equipment. It draws upon specialized knowledge and skill in the mathematical, physical and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify predict and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems to enhance a globally competing enterprise.

Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at the undergraduate level is generally seen as a composition of four areas: Production and planning, Manufacturing processes and systems, Project management, Ergonomics.

The graduate program in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management provides engineers with a significant opportunity to specialize in the management and optimization of engineering systems. A student may select his/her courses in a way that satisfies one of the four following areas of concentration: Project Management, Engineering Management, Maintenance Planning, and Production and Service Systems.
