The primary goal of the department is to train dental students to efficiently diagnose, treat, and manage comprehensive cases. Therefore, courses offered are integrated in a way to provide fundamental knowledge of material science and their clinical application; principles of occlusion and jaw relation, as well as effective management of partially or completely edentulous patients. Students are also trained to provide variety of contemporary esthetic options.

Division of Dental Biomaterials
Director, Prof. Essam Osman
The course has two components basic and preclinical. It focuses on the properties of dental materials and concentrate on the dental materials that is commonly used in dental practice regarding their characteristics, manipulation and uses, as well as materials used by dental technicians in dental labs and their relation to clinical applications.
Division of Fixed Prosthodontics
Director, Assoc. Prof. Mohammad Rayyan
The division provides all types of care and services needed for the management of partially edentulous patients. Comprehensive oral rehabilitation and contemporary esthetic treatment is offered. This treatment includes fixed partial dentures, intracoronal and extracoronal restorations, implant supported prosthesis. Alongside with smile makeover, esthetic and tooth colored restorations.
Division of Removable Prosthodontics
Director, Prof. Lucette Segaan
Removable prosthodontics courses provide knowledge and understanding of oral structures and their morphology, and carry out various laboratory practices covering construction steps of various removable prosthetic appliances. The students get acquainted with removable complete and partial prosthesis. During the clinical period, they start to implement their knowledge and skills in treatment of edentulous patients.
