PHRM 224   Pharmacology

The broad goal of the course is to inculcate rational and scientific basis of therapeutics keeping in view the dental profession. In this sense, the course aims to introduce the students to basic pharmacology, whilst building up skills and analytical apprehension of drug mechanisms, pharmacological actions, adverse effects and major drug interactions relevant to their field of study. It puts more emphasis on the pharmacotherapy of dental conditions which they may face on the dental chair.
