PHBS 223 Behavioural Sciences

The course aims to develop and enhance students’ communication skills (listening, questioning and presentation) that are essential for the implementation of good medical care. The course also aims at introducing the students to the basic components of communication (verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal). The course provides students with professional communication strategies in specific settings.

The course will also deals with the psychology of human behaviour it focuses on motivation, attitudes, mental health… etc. The course also investigates the systemic study of human society with a particular interest in identifying causes of the changing relationships among individuals and groups.
