On the occasion of launching Beirut Arab University Alumni website, I would like to extend a message to all my university colleagues, Alumni, and friends to whom this website provides a platform for communication and interaction.
Our aim is to work for the best of our community, which was chosen by our pioneers to be the place to establish Beirut Arab University 50 years ago. Ever since, it has been a model for successive generations with its role in the advancement of science and knowledge, the service of the local community and public interest, and the enhancement of education and academic research.
Beirut Arab University Alumni was created with the purpose of bringing together all the graduates of the university and highlighting their achievements in their fields and their contribution to their societies.

Dear Colleagues,
Throughout its history, Beirut Arab University has gone through phases of development and change and the number of its graduates of all nationalities has increased. Currently, the university is undergoing major changes involving the creation of a new image that may best reflect the university’s new strategy of developing up-to-date courses, supporting cutting-edge research, and preparing graduates to meet the demands of a highly competitive job market.
The university acknowledges its responsibility towards its graduates and is willing to provide an organizational framework to their aspirations and dreams. The university also owes its graduates to support its programs and goals in the form of sponsorship of its scientific and academic activities or in the form of educational grants.
Universities do not function in isolation. They reflect the needs of the community and aim at serving the interests of the graduates and, in return, the community and the graduates support them and endorse their activities.

Dear alumni and friends
You form the more powerful bulk of the university community. You are the ones whose duties are to look constantly for the success and prosperity of the university.
Our aim is that this website will be a means of communication with you regarding all scientific, cultural, professional, and social issues and events. Most importantly, this website should give scope to all issues related to the labor market whether in Lebanon or anywhere else in the world. In short, we hope that this website be a meeting point for all the university graduates, students, faculty, and employees.
I am addressing you from this platform in pride and determination, holding a double responsibility: the responsibility of a person who had the honor of being a student at this university, and the responsibility of a person who has been entrusted with the task of leading the university through an area of development and change.
It is essential that we constantly renew our pledge to work towards the prosperity of Beirut Arab University. Let us join hands in order to reach our goals and to help our university rise up to the challenges of a fast-changing world, a highly demanding job market, and the expectations of the scientific and academic community.
