Professional Information
Course Description and Overall aims:
The course explores the various aspects and dimensions of professional practice and patient-care process. The course covers drug distribution processes, patient self-care therapeutics (OTC) and patient counselling on the most commonly encountered minor ailments. Through a combination of lectures, laboratory simulations, patient case scenarios and individual work, students will be able to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes required to practice in different settings.

Prerequisite: Pharmacy Practice I, Pharmacotherapeutics I
