Biography

 Associate Professor Mohamed Salem Badawi has completed his PhD as a fellowship system between Alexandria University (Egypt) and Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK.CEN) (Belgium) for one year in 2010. He worked in the field of Radiation Physics.  He was awarded associate professor degree in 2016, and He also has a license as expert in radiation protection from 2010 valid till now. Currently, he is the associate professor at the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science at Beirut Arab University, Lebanon since 2017. His research interest is:
1-    Experimental and Theoretical Computation of Gamma-ray Detector Efficiency.
2-    Radionuclide Metrology: Environmental Measurements.
3-    Accurate Processing of Gamma- and X-ray Spectra.
4-    Analysis and Modelling of Experimental Radiation Physics Data.

He has more than 64 publications in the field of radiation physics. Supervisor of more than 15 PhD dissertations and 19 MSc thesis. Editor in 23 and Reviewer in 42 international Journals.
