COURSE DESCRIPTION
Research constitutes the backbone of evidence based nutrition and dietetics practice. This course is designed to provide the students with an opportunity to undertake supervised research activities on selected subjects in the nutrition domain. Students will conduct a literature review on recent findings on the specified topic, select parameters of data collection, design a research instrument, select a study sample and collect and analyze data. Finally they will summarize and interpret results and write up a research report.   

COURSE AIM
The aim of this course is to stimulate the advancement of the student’s skills in study design and questionnaire development. In addition the students will gain hands on practical experience in research planning, implementation of research instrument and reporting research results.
