Under the auspices of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and in cooperation with the Lebanese Fund for Development and Innovation and the US Space Agency (NASA), Beirut Arab University hosted the summer training camp for the International Youth Leadership Program in Debbieh Campus supervised by Mr. Maleeh Al Yaman, Partner and Founder of YLDP.

Held for the first time in Lebanon, this program lasted for two weeks and included about 200 young people. It was dedicated to the development of capabilities and creativity among the youth through development activities and training courses with elite entrepreneurs, namely Arshia Tayyab Computer Consultants International Chief Executive Officer, Claude Comair Founder of DigiPen Institute of Technology and co-founder of the Nintendo Software Technology Corporation as well as American astronaut Donald Thomas, who holds the world record for the longest stay on board a space station, to help them integrate their goals and experiences into the real world and achieve utmost benefit in their professional lives.

This program provided an outstanding opportunity for the young leaders participating in the program to get acquainted with prominent business leaders, interact with international companies and meet with distinguished scientific and economic figures, which will help them form basic links to build their future.
