COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides knowledge about the metabolic disorders: Disorders of amino acid metabolism, disorders of urea cycle metabolism, disorders of fatty acid oxidation, disorders of carbohydrate metabolism and glycogen storage diseases. It provides also how to plan a diet for these diseases and the lists of food to avoid in each case.

COURSE AIM:
This course focuses on the metabolic disorders associated with nutrition and how to fulfill the nutritional requirement of infant suffering from inborn errors of metabolism , follow up the nutritional status of subjects suffering from metabolic disorders and apply the necessary nutritional medical therapy.
