  • The Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center is a 325-bed facility that treats more than 24,000 patients/year and performs more than 10,000 surgeries/year.   • Makassed General Hospital

  • Makassed General Hospital was established in 1930 to provide the Lebanese community with quality health care services. It started as a modest two-storey building with 13 doctors and 10 nurses. During World War II, the hospital served as one of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense medical centers. In 1941, Makassed Association recovered the Hospital and resumed its operations in community service. In 1949, the hospital building was expanded to five floors and set on its course to become the general hospital it is today.

    Between 1975 and 1990, MGH pursued its mission in meeting the increasing needs of the community and developed also into a major teaching hospital. The difficult years of the war in Lebanon did not restrain the Hospital from serving the community. On the contrary, the load increased markedly and the Hospital responded at the highest possible standards.

    Today, MGH is a 200 patient-bed, full service teaching hospital located in a heavily populated area of Beirut. It is among the top medical facilities in Lebanon and is supported by more than 200 attending and resident physicians and 640 administrative staff.It serves nearly 100,000 inpatients and in excess of 50,000 outpatient visits per year.   • Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia

  • Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital eminated from (Rabitat Lijan Al-Ahyaa Al-Islamia) and its main objective duty & responsibility were to secure a (Shelter) to (House) the old-aged & the disabled in Beirut.Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital is a charitable human institution offering common medical aid. It was established in 1952.The hospital accepts all patients without any preference to religion or identity.

    Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital includes two different specializations within its structure: 1. Neuro-Psychiatric hospital for the treatment of mental and nervous disorders. 2. A home for the invalids, disabled and old-aged senile patients.

    Despite the immense capacity of the hospital, it offers great services to common people. The hospital still has a shortage of place to meet the great demand which is exposed to. At present, there are 800 beds always permanently occupied by patients. This number is still short for the 2000 beds we are planning to accommodate.   • Saida Governmental Hospital

  • Saida University Governmental Hospital building consists of four floors: The ground floor includes the Office of Information (Reception), Admission Office, Waiting room (Lobby), Administrative Offices, Laboratory Department, Radiology Department, Lithotripsy Department, Emergency Department, Endoscope Unit, One Day Surgery (ODS), Stress test nerves and muscles Room and EEG-EMG Room. The first floor includes the Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Dialysis Departments. The second floor comprises of the Medical, Surgical, and Intensive Care Departments, Basement includes the Operation Room Department, Delivery Department, CSSD, and Service departments (kitchen - laundry - Maintenance) in addition to warehouses and Archives and Forensic Department. The Outpatient Department (OPD) is in the old building.
