"Gas and Oil Processing, a Lebanese European Cooperation", a new curriculum programme in the field of Gas and Oil Engineering in perfect alignment with Bologna process.
CONSORTIUM:
“Master Curriculum, Capacity Building and Network Development in Traffic Safety in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon MENASAFE” is a 3 – year project being realized in a consortium of 9 Universities. It is co – funded by the European Union within the ERASMUS + Programme - Capacity building in the field of higher education. The main objective of the project is to reform and modernize at partner universities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon a master curriculum in road traffic safety on the basis of the EU existing standards and practices.
CONSORTIUM:
The Project consortium consists of 9 Universities: 3 Universities from EU, 2 Universities from each of Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.
The Professional Standards Framework for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Lebanese Universities “E-TALEB” is a national project co-funded by Erasmus+ co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. E-TALEB aims at developing the Lebanese Professional Standards in Teaching and Learning and cooperating for innovation and exchange of good practices and experiences relevant to similar frameworks established in Europe.
CONSORTIUM:
The ELEMENT project aims at fulfilling the overall and specific programme objectives. In accordance with the overall Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Strand 1 objectives, the Egypt-Lebanon-EU Mobility Exchange NeTwork (ELEMENT) aims to promote European higher education, to help improve and enhance the career prospects of students and to promote intercultural understanding through cooperation with third countries, in accordance with EU external policy objectives in order to contribute to the sustainable development of third countries in the field of higher education.
CONSORTIUM:
The overall objective of the project is to support student services in the participating higher education institutions (HEIs) from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Lebanon of the consortium . This support is based on tools and methodologies specifically designed according to European best practices and aiming at meeting the needs and expectations of students in a globalized world. Moreover, the project aims at developing a quality assurance culture among staff and students in the participating HEIs.

"Tuning Middle East and North Africa", is aimed at the implementation of the Bologna tools in Southern Neighbouring Area universities through building of a framework of comparable, compatible and transparent programmes of studies.

"Innovation and Development of Academic-Industry Partnerships through Efficient Research Administration in Lebanon", seeks to augment inputs and outputs for research, development and innovation (RD&I) in Lebanon which will eventually lead to the improvement of the country’s economic strength and global competitiveness. The goal of the project is to enhance and support research and innovation in Lebanon through the establishment of the infrastructure and support systems needed in higher education institutions and provide the platform for academics and researchers to excel at producing new knowledge and to transfer their knowledge to industry for the benefit of the greater Lebanese society.
CONSORTIUM:
"Towards the Lebanese Quality Assurance Agency",Quality assurance (QA) is a major component in the Lebanese modernization agenda. With an important increase in volume and diversity, the Lebanese higher education (HE) faces several challenges making a clear QA system necessary. In this context, numerous Lebanese higher education institutions (HEIs) have already gone through a complete QA process with foreign QA agencies. Lately, a draft law for the establishment of a Lebanese Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education has been drafted. This agency would satisfy the expectations in terms of accountability and continuous improvement of the HE system. Against this backdrop, the project aims to experiment some tools that may be used by this agency. Based on an analysis of the Lebanese context done by the Lebanese partners a model for QA will be established with the support of the European partners.
CONSORTIUM:
"Achieving Sustainable Programmes in Regeneration and Entrepreneurship: Jordan, Lebanon and Palestinian Territories, Occupied", aims to enhance the capacity of the six consortium universities in JL, LB and PS by enabling them to develop sustainable programmes in entrepreneurship in their countries.
CONSORTIUM:
"Promoting the modernization and strengthening of institutional and financial autonomy in Southern Neighbouring Area higher education institutions", is born from real needs identified via research and past experiences. This includes knowledge that increased autonomy and efficiency are desirable for Financial Management (FM) in the partner countries, and that this is a strategic goal for many. Overall Objective: lend specific support to institutional demands for increased efficiency, autonomy & transparency in FM in partnering Southern Neighbouring Area (SNA) Higher Education Institutions, in line with national schemes & regional Tempus priorities. UNAM seeks support mechanisms to existing ideas in target Higher Education Institutions.

"Leadership in Higher Education Management", to improve leadership, governance and management of MEDA region higher education and converge it with that of EU universities.
CONSORTIUM:
"Towards an Internationalisation of Higher Education Network for the Meda Region". The purpose of the project is to contribute to the development of international relations (IRs) management in HEIs in the MEDA region, in particular in Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, and Jordan.

"Strengthening Institutional Capacity in Arab countries", The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity of Arab Universities in support of policy, management and planning at national and regional levels in order to meet accountability needs and growing development demands. Specifically, the action aims to reach this objective through the Development of sustainable Quality Culture and Capacity Building in Quality Assurance at Arab Universities.
CONSORTIUM:
"Creation of a Lebanese Engineering Programs Accreditation Commission", to establish an organizational structure and bylaws for the proposed LEPAC, and to establish a draft of accreditation criteria, a draft of accreditation procedures, and to train Lebanese accreditation specialists and to be a consultant to the Lebanese Ministry of HE and the Orders of Engineers for the equivalency of the international Engineering Degrees.

"Quality Assurance for Higher Education in Lebanon", To make the Lebanese Higher Education Institutions aware of the European Quality assurance processes and to help them reform their higher education system by achieving greater compatibility and comparability with the European systems of Higher Education.
