Prerequisite:                ANAT 149 and MICA 151.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This source will discuss integumentary system, common skin disorders, examination of integumentary integrity, physical therapy intervention for impaired integumentary integrity, burns and wounds, as well as well as body sculpture techniques. The clinical application and practice allows the student to apply didactic knowledge gained through the course.

COURSE AIM:
At the end of this course the student will be able to use different tools of assessment for burned patients, deal with different cases of skin traumatology and diseases, and apply advanced P.T techniques for management post burned patients.    

TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS:
Illustrated lecture using white board, personal computer and data show.
Group discussion.
Problem solving.
Demonstration/ Physical Therapy laboratory 1 and 2.
Clinical training/ Physical Therapy outpatient clinic.
Case report.
Student portfolio.
