International Relations

I- International Agreements with other Universities:

  • The International Agreement with the University of Aix arseilles.
  • The International Agreement with the University of Anger.
  • The International Agreement with the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV).

II- Student Exchange Programs:

  • In the academic year 2012/2013 two students were sent to spend the Fall Semester at the University of Aix Marseilles.
  • In the academic year 2010/2011 four students were sent to spend the Fall Semester at the University of Aix Marseilles.
  • In the academic year 2009/2010 two students were sent to spend the Fall Semester at the University of Aix Marseilles.
  • In the academic year 2008/2009 the PhD student, Nadine Hallak, was sent to the University of Aix Marseilles to improve her academic research and to visit the university libraries.
  • In the Academic Year 2015/2016, 36 students from the Faculty of Law and Political Science and the Faculty of Human Sciences participated in the Social Justice Exchange Program funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Muslim World Program.
  • In the academic year 2016/2017, one student was sent to the United States of America to study in the program entitled Women’s Leadership.
  • In the academic year 2016/2017, 3 students from Ataturk University spent 5 months at the Arabic Language and Literature Department.

III- Activities held in Implementation of the Agreements Concluded between BAU and French Universities:

  • A seminar that hosted Prof. Dr. Carole Auroy from the University of Anger (25th February – 1st March 2013).
  • A seminar held by Prof. Dr. Michel Bertrand from the University of Aix Marseilles (3rd – 7th December 2012).
  • A seminar held by Prof. Dr. Michel Bertrand from the University of Aix Marseilles (11th – 15th April 2011).
  • A seminar held by Prof. Dr. Chantal Connochie from the University of Aix Marseilles (Spring 2010).
  • A seminar that hosted Prof. Dr. Carole Auroy from the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV) (2009).
  • A seminar held by Prof. Dr. Michel Bertrand from the University of Aix Marseilles (Spring 2008/2009).
