It is Time to Meet Again

The faculty of Medicine at Beirut Arab University is planning for an alumni meeting on Wednesday 21 August 2019 at Beirut Campus. The Meeting will include all faculty-graduating classes. The purpose of this meeting is to rejoin the graduates, know more about their specialties, meet there spouses, and to reconnect them to the faculty. The event will include a tour to the Faculty of Medicine and its new facilities , short film documentaries of stories of success of the graduates and an entrainment show with a delicious dinner. Therefore, dear alumni members mark your calendars and let us meet again.

The Faculty of Medicine, Beirut Arab University (FOM_BAU) was established in 1995. Its journey towards pursuing international standards in medical education is a continuous process of experiences, reflection, concept development, evaluation, improvement and change. The Faculty offers a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.Ch). In addition, the Faculty provides Master and Doctorate Degrees in some Basic and Clinical Medical specialties. Moreover, 24 residency and fellowship programs run in collaboration with many affiliated hospitals in Lebanon. At present, 491 students are enrolled in the program and 805 already graduated.

    The faculty adopted the international academic standards of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), and started to disseminate awareness about these standards among faculty members, students and employees. These Standards are acting through broad components in the structure, process and outcome of medical education in different areas.
