Dr. Oussama Baalbaki is currently a full-time Professor of Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, Beirut Arab University. He started his academic career at BAU since 1997. He had accomplished his M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering at University of LILLE for Sciences and Technologies FRANCE in 1989 and 1993, respectively. He finished his undergraduate studies at BAU in 1987. In addition to his remarkable academic and educational background, he has worked with DAR Al Handasa (Shaer and Partners) during the last six years on Mega Multimillions projects such as Holly Haram expansion and Kingdom tower in Jeddah; the tallest tower of the world. He has a good experience in the structural design and supervision of site structural works for various types of building and infrastructure projects. Verifiable track record for the successful completion of multimillion projects through coordinating, executing and supervising to effectively manage construction works in line with the contractual constraints and specifications. Actually, He is working as Professor at Beirut Arab University and supervising a number of graduate students in Master and PhD degrees.
