Research project related to the field of interest of the students.

Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to give the PhD students a broad chance to choose a research project related to their fields of interest. Each student presents two seminars including: a literature review of the subject, recent researches related to the topic, new methodology applied by other researches, how to discuss the data obtained?, and the suggestion of new plan of work in this field.

Knowledge and understanding:

At the end of this course the students will be able to:

    K1. Identify a gap in a research field must be investigated

    K2. Explain the previous research related to the selected topic

    K3. Discuss the methods applied by other researches

    K4. Describe a new plan of work in this field

    k5. Select the best experiments to carry the suggested plan of work

Intellectual abilities:


At the end of the course, students should be able to:

    I1. Evaluate the presentations of his coallegues

    I2. Deduce the results of his future preliminary experiment

    I3. Differentiate between the various methodologies applied in the articles
