Biography

Zaher Abou Saleh is an assistant professor at Beirut Arab University; He received his PhD from the University of Miami (structural emphasis), M.Sc. in structural engineering from the Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Abou Saleh has more than 20 years experience in structural engineering, His research interests include post-tensioned systems, structural testing, and repairs.

Dr. Abou Saleh was assigned as an associate at CCL engineering delivering worldwide a post-tensioning design services. He was also assigned as a senior structural engineer at PTE strand company (Florida), inc, designing several post tension high rise buildings, performing value engineering, jobsite technical assistance & troubleshooting, design assistance & engineering support, cost analysis, expert consulting, evaluated conditions of buildings cracks, repair, strengthening and other related issues.
