Biography

Yehya Timsah is currently a professor at Beirut Arab University. He has more than twenty years experience in the fields of structural engineering, research and education. After he completed his BS in engineering at Beirut Arab University, he continued his graduate studies in France where he gained his MS in Mechanics of Solids and PhD in Soil and Structures Mechanics.

Professor Timsah came back to Lebanon and started his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Beirut Arab University. Through his academic career, he supervised and co-supervised a large number of Masters and PhD theses in the field of structures. He taught around 10 courses between undergraduate and graduate courses and has around 25 publications.

Today, Professor Yehya is the assistant dean in the Faculty of Engineering at BAU.
