Biography

Semaan Amine received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese Universiy in 2007. He received his Master’s and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Nantes – France in 2008 and 2011, respectively.

His PhD thesis dealt with the geometrical analysis, characterization of singular configurations and conceptual design of parallel robots.

He was employed as a part time university instructor in several institutions, for instance, Ecole Centrale de Nantes – France, ISTIA Angers – France, American University of Science and Technology (AUST) – Lebanon, Notre Dame University (NDU) – Lebanon, and Beirut Arab University (BAU) – Lebanon.

He is currently a full-time Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at BAU, Debbieh Campus.
