Course Description

Introduces students to the fundamental basis of etiology, pathogenesis with emphasis on disease prevention, compensation of the damaged functions and recovery. Knowledge of these mechanisms is needed for elaboration of principles and methods of therapy and prophylaxis. Also it provides the students with basic understanding of the mechanisms of development and outcomes of the main systems’ diseases as bridge between basic theoretical disciplines and clinical practice.
