BECO301-INTERMEDIATE MICROECONOMICS (3Cr.:3Lec):

The course presents a more formal treatment of the foundations of microeconomic theory, with the aim of providing a deeper insight into the nature of economic theory, introducing key results and methods of analysis that will be developed in later economic courses and providing a preview of the issues discussed in these courses. The main topics are: consumer choice theory and applications; the theory of production and costs; and theories of the firm.
