COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course emphasizes on diseases, disorders, and surgeries related to cardiovascular system and respiratory system. It will also focus on proper assessment, treatment planning, and physical therapy intervention for the topics discussed. Also this course will cover special knowledge about critical care evaluation and intervention. The clinical application and practice allows the student to apply didactic knowledge gained through the course.

COURSE AIM:
At the end of this course the student will be able to build up knowledge and skills necessary about diseases, disorders, and surgeries related to cardiovascular system and respiratory system. The student shall also be able to gain skills on proper assessment, treatment planning, and physical therapy intervention for the topics discussed.

Illustrated lecture using white board, personal computer and data show.
Group discussion.
Problem solving.
Demonstration/ Physical Therapy laboratory 1 and 2.
Clinical training/ Physical Therapy outpatient clinic.
Case report.
