Biography

Professor Ashraf M. Abdel-Gaber has completed his PhD in Chemistry in the field of Corrosion Science from Alexandria University in 1998 where he worked at the Faculty of Science - department of Chemistry. Currently, he is the Chairman of Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Science - Beirut Arab University. His research interest is to study the corrosion protection by marine paints. Cathodic protection and mechanism of the effect of corrosion inhibitors (organic, inorganic compounds) on the dissolution of metals in different media. He has more than 40 publications in this field.
