Beirut Arab University hosted "Safar" Exhibition for the Artist Ahmad Akl brought together with the Poet Ramzi Azzam in an evening at the Cultural Forum “Al Moltaqa Hall” at Beirut Arab University- Beirut Premises on the 10th of May 2012.
Beirut Arab University is hosting a very distinctive and unique Sculpture Exhibition for the Lebanese Sculptor, Painter, and Poet Rudy Rahme.
The exhibition will be held on Thursday the 17th of May 2012 and will last till the 30th of May 2012 at the Cultural Forum” Al Moltaqa Hall” at Beirut Arab University- Beirut Premises.
At Beirut Arab UniversityThe Students' Activities Division at Beirut Arab University concluded this year's season with a series of artistic and recreational performances prepared by students from the different clubs, namely theater, folk and modern dance, and music club.
Beirut Arab University opened – and for the fifth consecutive year- the “Job Fair 2012”at Beirut Campus on the 3rd of May 2012 with the participation of 50 companies from the Lebanese and the Arab countries and from different domains: Engineering, Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Architectural , and Informatics Companies.
The bright colors of Spring Season and the meanings of the Arab Spring, that Arab countries are living, were the two guiding principles for the theme of Zaher Al-Bizri's 30 paintings posted in the exhibit hosted by BAU. The paintings combined the abstract, the expressionist and the realist styles.
For the fifth year in a row, Beirut Arab University organized the public speaking contest in classical Arabic entitled "The Arab Spring between Dream and Reality". The purpose was to encourage students to raise their performance levels in oral presentation and their abilities to present and debate their ideas eloquently and clearly in front of an audience.
The Center for Entrepreneurship and the Research Center for Environmental and Development, at Beirut Arab University, Bekaa, and in collaboration with the UNESCO ,organized a training session for Bekaa women on "How to Establish My Small Project". The Training that was held on the from the 25th till the 27th of April 2012, was joined by Activists in the domains of Business and Development Services.
In the framework of the "Informatics Day", the Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University, Department of Computer and Information Engineering organized a workshop on “The Role of Social Networking in Education”. The workshop took place at Debbieh campus on the 24th of April 2012 in the presence of Prof. Khaled Baghdady, Dean of Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University, Dr. Ahmad Bilal, Head of Department; and Faculty members along with students.
The “Research Day 2012” was the special event organized by Beirut Arab University for the fourth consecutive year. This event that was held on the 24th of April 2012 in Debbieh Campus, included more than 104 researchers from Beirut Arab University, both instructors and students from the different postgraduate programs, who submitted their research findings. Those research studies covered a wide range of topics across all disciplines: medicine, health, nutrition, environment, engineering, chemistry, physics, sociology, and mass media.
Beirut Arab University organized a workshop titled "Fundraising and Project Management", as one of a series of workshops held by "Ties" project as part of “Tempus Program for the Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation for Higher Education”. The workshop was held on the 20th of April 2012 and took place at Coral Suites Hotel, Hamra- Beirut.
The Faculty of Engineering at Beirut Arab University, Debbieh Campus, organized its “14th Engineering Projects Day” on the 19th of April 2012. Students submitted 132 engineering projects that were presented to a number of engineering companies for them to select the most prominent in order to develop them.
